  Stopped into Uncle Danny's for lunch. Although it was busy, they found us an out of the way table to accommodate my full-length leg brace. That was a nice bit of peace-of-mind that no one could accidentally kick it while it heals.
  
  I ordered the double cheeseburger plate with mac and pots. I expected it to look like everyone else. Nope! I was thrilled to see that the cheeseburgers came with grill-toasted buns instead of just sitting on the plate. All of the toppings (mustard, relish, meat hot sauce, onions) were on the burgers and not spread all over. That appealed to me. Anyhow, it was one of the best plates I've had in a while. I highly recommend giving it a go.

  I guess it's sustenance, right?
  
  Stopped in for breakfast and ordered the inoffensive seeming feta, tomato, olive omelette with coffee. Omelette was a bit soggy, and the tomato and onion skins were leathery tough. Toast was a little stale. Home fries were dry. Coffee was weak. I was hungry so I was able to eat some of it and feel full--if that's all you're looking for then this is all you need. If you want a simple breakfast done better, East Ridge Diner is just up the road. If you want something fancy, Atlas Eats is nearby and fantastic. If you want bland but filling, here you go.

  Where do I start. I arrive at 8:30 on a Saturday morning and only one customer is in the restaurant. That should have told me something was wrong right there. The sign said wait to be seated so we waited. Finally the one customer eating said you can seat yourself. They will be out shortly. What? Finally the server arrived and took our order. I asked for Kid's menu for a my 6 year old. We don't have a kids menu. Ok this is a family restaurant right? No kids menu.  We order anyway. 20 Minutes later the food comes out.  The toast is as hard as a rock and cold.  The home fries were hot. The sausage was also cold as ice. I could tell this food had been sitting out for a while.  I told the server that the toast was cold. Her response was I'm sorry I will tell the cook.  bad service. bad food. I see why this place is empty on a Saturday morning.  I will never go there a again and if you want hot food I suggest that you don't go there either

  Welcoming atmosphere, delicious traditional diner food, clean, great service, family- friendly, appropriately priced restaurant. My favorite breakfast spot in Rochester...I've been going to Uncle Danny's religiously for 20 years and I have always had an ideal experience.

  We used to come here often but as of late we have gone elsewhere, not because the food is bad, but just haven't been there lately....It's your average Greek run diner style food that is tasty and comforting in it's own way....The service is good and the prices are high at all, in fact very reasonable given today's economy....Plenty of parking as long as you get there early....All in all not a bad place to eat breakfast or dinner....
